Caustic bladders are large covered lagoons for storage of caustic soda, which is used for production of aluminum being corrosive can cause significant damage to the ground and also as caustic is used for aluminum production contamination of the caustic is undesirable.
Applying accurate and reliable automated leak location systems into caustic bladder construction can be quite complex, however Sensor DDS® CMS has been successfully integrated into bladder design.
